Why does my Hempz cucumber jasmine lotion not say it's vegan?

I got this bottle from a friend and i know all the new bottles say they are vegan, but this bottle does not, and it states in the ingred. that it has glycerin, so my question is: as a vegan will i be able to use this product? It might be an older bottle too, i am not sure, so is the glycerin animal derived or not?? I really want to use this lotion but i am worried!!!!!! Please help!
