Need help with a interview question?

I'm going for house captain at my school and i have 2 questions to answer in my interview. The first question i'm fine with and can say a lot for but i'm struggling with the second. Basically, the second question is asking me what i would DO to ensure i stayed motivated throughout the year at being house captain. I know i will stay motivated but i don't know what i would do to keep myself motivated. The only thing i can think of is set myself tasks/targets every week/month to do with the job of being house captain but that's all i can think of. Can you help me think of other answers for this question?
