PayPal verification help?

So, the website says this: "Click Continue to complete setup of bank funding. PayPal will make two small deposits (less than �1.00) to your bank account. Confirming these amounts ensures that you own this bank account." Does this mean that PayPal are giving me the two small amounts of money? I ask this because I literally have about 59p in my bank account and I don't want PayPal to take any of my money out. I just want to be 100% sure that I'm not going to lose any money.
