How do i store an entire saddle? including the underside (padded) part.?

it was given to me as more of a cowboy decoration but i need my own saddle for my horse (mine's on loan) and i was hoping maybe i could restore this one. i know i can use liquid glycerin and stuff for the outside but no idea about the bottom.
