How to deal with TimBob's worry?

He is smart, he is young and he is a mommy's boy. He wants to know that everything is going to be okay with you. Since he is with Grandparents and isn't in the hospital with you before and after your surgery than his questions are just to learn more and possibly help you when you need it. You fell in front of your kids, not just scaring them, but making them aware that you were sick and need to get better. I think you're doing an awesome thing by keeping it honest because let me tell you growing up my mom was in the hospital for two weeks for a surgery, I am 25 years old and still don't know why. They still won't even tell me and my parents are honest people. Having my dad frantically take care of us was weird and it just wasn't mom. Keep doing what your doing and if all else fails and you get tired of answering his questions then have him go with you to the doctor like a special thing for him, so he can see that you're being taken care of, but also to ask the doctor ALL those nifty questions floating around in his head.
